All proceeds will go to Help for Heroes, so get along to enjoy yourselves and help a good cause at the same time.

Unfortunately, Silksworth FC are leaving the Wearside League and the club is folding. David McKinley has played throughout the 13 years of the club's existence.

Following Sunday's 4 - 2 victory over Catholic Club FC, RCA The Barnes ensured their place in the Premier Division of the John G Hogg Sunderland Sunday League for the 2011/12 season.

Having started the season with a run of eight consecutive defeats at league level, and the upheaval of losing their management team and some players within three weeks of the season's start, the Club Officials would like to extend their thanks to Gary Errington, who took on the job of trying to ensure survival, ably assisted by long time playing members Philip Hall and Michael Curtis, who have worked tirelessly to achieve their aim for the season.

The 2010/11 Player Awards will be made at a presentation evening on:

Doors are open at 6:30 and the presentations will be made at 7:30. The bar will then open to the public and there will be a band.

Meadow Park is hosting three Wearside Combination League cup finals, running on consecutive Mondays:

# 1 Easter Monday, 25 April, 10:30am kick off

# 2 May Day, Monday, 2 May, 10:30am kick off

# 3 Monday, 9 May, 6:30pm kick off
