All the news from Sunderland RCA FC

Thank you Michael

Submitted by Tim Robinson on Saturday, 7 May 2016

In the latter part of this season RCA fans have become used to seeing the tall figure of Michael Woud between the sticks during his loan spell from Sunderland AFC.

Michael has now made the long trip to Australia for the New Zealand men's national team camp, which will includes three friendlies against teams in Brisbane. After that it's the comparatively short hop home to New Zealand for a month's rest before flying back back for pre-season with SAFC.

Michael tells us that he has enjoyed the crack and highs and lows and has learned a lot from his time with RCA.

Good luck Michael and don't forget you're always welcome at Meadow Park.

Two signed from SAFC

Submitted by Rob Jones on Friday, 1 April 2016

Sunderland RCA are pleased to announce the signing of two goalkeepers on loan from Sunderland AFC.

Michael Woud and Cameron McCulloch follow in the footsteps of James Talbot and Kieran Graham who have both had spells at the club.

We welcome the latest additions and at least one of them is going to be included in tomorrow's team as Harkess struggles to shake off a groin strain.
