Sunderland RCA began the first of three consecutive home Northern League matches this afternoon with Newton Aycliffe the visitors to Meadow Park.

RCA made two changes to the side knocked out of the League Cup at Whitley Bay on Tuesday, with Clayton Davis and Michael Charlton replacing James Cassidy and Nathan O'Neill.

The two sides lined up as follows:

RCA: Finch; Noble; Hodgson; McGuinness; Preston (c); Armstrong; C. Davis; Page; Callen; Richardson; Charlton.

Following the huge disappointment of being knocked out of the FA Vase on Tuesday evening, Sunderland RCA were back in Northern League action this afternoon with a trip to Newcastle Benfield.

RCA made two changes to the side knocked out of the FA Vase on Tuesday - Adam McGuinness and Luke Richardson replacing Ross McNab and Dylan Elliott.

The two sides lined up as follows:

Following the stalemate at the Millbank Linnets Stadium between Sunderland RCA and Runcorn Linnets on Saturday, the sides met again tonight at Meadow Park, with a Third Round tie at home to Marske United up for grabs for the victors.

Sunderland RCA made the long trip to Runcorn Linnets for the FA Vase Second Round tie. Runcorn had won their previous Vase match against fellow Northern League Division One side Team Northumbria after a replay. For RCA, this was our first taste of Vase football this season after being exempt from the previous rounds for reaching the Fifth Round last season.

RCA made three changes to the side that beat West Auckland Town on Tuesday - Reece Noble and Adam McGuinness returned in defence, replacing Luke Richardson and Ross McNab, and Colin Larkin, injured early on in Tuesday's match, was ruled out and replaced by James Armstrong.

Sunderland RCA welcomed West Auckland Town to Meadow Park for a match brought forward from Saturday due to both sides’ involvement in the FA Vase.

RCA made three changes to the side that lost at Seaham Red Star on Saturday - in came Luke Richardson, Ross McNab and James Cassidy, replacing Reece Noble, Adam McGuinness and Michael Charlton.

Sunderland RCA made the short trip to Seaham Red Star for this afternoon's Northern League fixture. The two sides had met at Meadow Park just 11 days earlier, with RCA winning a close Durham County Challenge Cup match 3-2. Since then, Red Star have played one match - a goalless draw at Billingham Synthonia. RCA, too, have played one match since, a 2-1 win over Ashington at Meadow Park last Saturday.

RCA made one change to the side that beat Ashington last Saturday, with Dylan Elliott replacing Jonathan Davis.

Following Saturday's Northern League victory at Jarrow Roofing, Sunderland RCA were back in action tonight with a Durham County Challenge Cup First Round match at home to Seaham Red Star.

RCA made three changes to the side that started at Jarrow - Neal Bussey, injured in the Jarrow match, was ruled out and replaced by Keith Finch. Ross Preston was away and replaced by Adam McGuinness, and Luke Page, who had served a one-match suspension, returned in place of Dylan Elliott, who took a place on the bench.

RCA made two changes to the side that drew with Dunston UTS in midweek - Luke Page was suspended after receiving five bookings and missed his first match of the season and James Cassidy was ruled out injured and were replaced by Jonathan Davis and Stephen Callen.
