Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen.
It been quite a while since our last game and unfortunately we have been on the end of two defeats which were hard to take for different reasons.
Against Bishop Auckland it was a case of not turning up on the day and being second to everything which as I have said in the past we can’t afford to do, and we got done by that in a game we should have comfortably won.
Benfield was a totally different game, we were the better side for 90% of the game, but just couldn’t find the net. We got beaten by a mistake from our keeper coming for a ball he was never going to get in the last ten minutes and, although of course nobody makes mistakes on purpose, these things are hard to take when we played so well and deserved a point at the very least.
Tonight we entertain a West Auckland side who are a very good team, and rightly so being one of the teams with a hefty budget. So tonight will be a very difficult task but if we stick to our game plan like we did at their ground when we won then hopefully we can get a good result and get back to winning ways.
