Bishop Auckland's video highlights are here.

The lads made the trip to the newly named “Voneus Heritage Park” to play Bishop Auckland in this Ebac Northern League Division I clash.

So much has changed since we clashed in the Extra Preliminary round of the FA Cup when RCA ran out convincing 5-1 winners. Bishop have a new manager in Chris Hardy and a much changed team, while RCA have also lost a few players and gained others. Harry Dunn took charge for the final time tonight and we wish him well in his retirement.

The pitch looked in good condition after the recent rain and everything was set for an entertaining evening of football. If you didn’t fancy watching this one there was always the clubhouse where some international was taking place on the big screen.

The management team made two changes to the team which was beaten by Crook on Saturday. Into the team came Joshua Croft and Taylor Richardson to replace Michael Coghlan and Michael Annang-Colquhoun.

The teams lined up as follows:

Bishop Auckland: Liversedge, Winstanley, Miller, Poole ©, Emery, Nelson, Waters, Suddick, Pinder, Murphy, Stevens: Subs: Gilchrist, Lamb, Hoare, Ait El Haj, Pilling.

Sunderland RCA: Ball, Allen, J Croft, Jakab, Errington, Hawkins ©, Carr Watts, Davison, Burlace, Richardson: Subs: Coghlan, Hunter, Weirs, Annang-Colquhoun, Marrs.

We welcome newly promoted Crook Town to Sunderland LGV Park for today’s EBAC Northern League Div I fixture. The visitors have had a very good start to the season and would be no doubt tough opponents having beaten Penrith last Saturday.

The management team made two changes to the team that suffered defeat at Penrith, with Mark Davison and Jonathon Carr replacing Craig Hennis and Taylor Richardson. New signing Matthew Weirs was named as a substitute.

The teams lined up as follows:

RCA captain Daniel Hawkins sets up a second half attack.

RCA made the short trip to Seaham Red Star for this re-arranged EBAC Northern League Div I fixture. The original game was due to be played on Boxing Day and supporters can be forgiven, given the weather conditions, for thinking that winter had arrived early. A cold wind and driving rain was the order of the day.

The management team made two changes to the starting eleven that played so valiantly last week at Consett. In came Ball for Marrs and Best replaced Swansbury who was injured in a freak accident in training on Tuesday when he collided with Davison and has bruised ribs. A reshuffle of the defence saw Jakab return to a central defensive role and Best came into the midfield.

Also back in the fold was Max Allen who took his place on the bench after a lay off with pulled hamstring.

The teams lined up as follows:

Seaham Red Star: Jennison, Baggs, Hailes, Kerr, Nelson, Patterson, Lawson, Heywood, Lennox, M Robinson, Sayer. Subs: J Robinson, Weldon, Hodgson, Anderson, Patton.

Sunderland RCA: Ball, Burlace, J Croft, Jakab, Errington, Hawkins, Best, Hennis, Davison, Annang-Colquhoun, Richardson. Subs: Allen, Carr, Watts, Coghlan, Marrs.

Consett's match report is here.

Sunderland RCA made the trip up the A691 to play league leaders Consett at their Belle View Stadium. After their well deserved win against a strong Newcastle Benfield side another tough test awaited Steve Riley’s team.

As last week, today was not going to be an easy game against a very confident and well organized Consett team.

RCA welcomed back Dan Hawkins after fracturing his ankle in the match against Seaham Red Star four weeks ago and the management team had no hesitation in including him in the starting eleven to add a little more experience to team.

The teams lined up as follows:

Consett: Hayes, Metz, Scott, Slocombe, Purewal, Allen, Orrell, Smith, Carr, Larkin, Callen: Subs: King, Holden, Lawson, Marriott, Wilkinson.

Sunderland RCA: Marrs, Burlace, J Croft, Swansbury ©, Errington, Jakab, Hawkins, Hennis, Davison, Annang-Colquhoun, Richardson. Subs: Best, Watts, Coghlan, Elcoate, Ball.

A week they say is a long time in politics, well I can tell you a week is also a long time in football while we waited to see what reaction we would get from the team after crashing out of the FA Vase at the first hurdle last week.

Newcastle Benfield were the visitors to Sunderland LGV Park for this EBAC Northern League Div I match.

Today was never going to be a walk in the park against a very strong Newcastle Benfield team who, despite losing on Tuesday to Seaham Red Star, have had a good start to the season.

The return of Carr and Annang-Colquhoun to the squad meant that the only players missing today were long term injuries to Hawkins (Fractured ankle 3-4 weeks), Andrew Johnson (Cartilage 4 months) and Allen (Hamstring 2-3 weeks).

The management team made a couple of changes to the squad for the match.

The teams lined up as follows:

Sunderland RCA: Marrs, Burlace, Carr, Swansbury ©, Errington, Jakab, Watts, Best, Davison, Annang-Colquhoun, Richardson. Subs: Hennis, Lawrence, Elcoate, J Croft, Ball.

Newcastle Benfield: Gordon, Glen-Ravenhill, Rennet, Slaughter, Thompson, M Turnbull ©, Haley, Kanda, Brayson, Walker, Walton. Subs: Leonard, Grainger, Gascoigne, Varga, J Turnbull.

The management team without the services of the manager Steve Riley was forced to make several changes to the team who lost last week match. In came Burlace, Hennis and Watts to replace, Carr, Allen and Annang-Colquhoun all unavailable.

The teams lined up as follows:

Sunderland RCA: Marrs, Burlace, Croft, Swansbury ©, Errington, Jakab, Hennis, Best, Davison, Watts, Richardson. Subs: Lawrence, Lennox, Bell, Carling, Elcoate, Madden, Herdman.

Redcar Town: Algie, Prest, Howes, Leyshon, Smuk, Bennett ©, Weatherald, Lee, Williams, Bennions, Webster. Subs: Wheatley, Porritt, Jenkinson, D Thompson, Warrior, H Thompson, Henry.
