Reece Noble in action against Guisborough Town last season.

As the season draws to a close, Sunderland RCA have three matches at home in the coming week:

On Saturday, 28 April, we host Guisborough Town, with a 3pm kick-off. No guarantees, but recent matches between the two sides have been cracking encounters with goals, goals, goals. Last season, in the corresponding fixture, RCA were beaten 4-2 by Guisborough, and this season, at the KGV, RCA won a thrilling match 4-3 with terrific goals from Nathan O'Neill and Colin Larkin, who grabbed a brace apiece.

RCA Race Night

Submitted by Simon Mears on Thursday, 5 April 2018

This Saturday, 7 April, Sunderland RCA will be holding a Race Night after the match against Newcastle Benfield - which itself promises to be a cracking game, with both sides bang in form and pushing for at least a top eight finish.

The event will in the clubhouse, with free entry, cheap drinks, and free food kindly supplied by one of our club sponsors, Mo at Pizza Uno, and will be hosted by the shy and retiring Mark Cowan. It will run from 5:30pm until around 7-7:30pm. Anyone who has been to one of Mark’s Race Nights will know that it’s a brilliant night.

It’s also a great chance for supporters, players and management to get together and socialise for what is always a highly entertaining couple of hours.

Come along for an afternoon of quality football, followed by some top banter in the clubhouse!

Please note: the Race Night will go ahead, even if the match is postponed.
