Match is on. After early inspection pitch passed fit to play.

This is a message from Hemsworth MW FC's Secretary:

Hi All Just an update on the pitch condition for tomorrow.

The pitch is in good condition considering the amount of continuous rain we played in last Saturday and what's fallen since then.

We have had the winds drying the surface though which is a good help.

We have also had the pitch verti-drained and fertilised this week too.

We are slightly concerned at the forecast of snow tonight 60% chance over here.

Hopefully this does not fall and any frost doubts don't happen either.

Thanks to the efforts of RCA fan Dave Rochfort, the club has relaunched its presence on Facebook.

On Saturday, 21 November Sunderland RCA travel to Hemsworth Miners Welfare near Pontefract in West Yorkshire to play in the FA Vase. There are some places on the bus, so if you would like to join us for the day out please be sure to speak to Colin, Graham or Rob as soon as possible, or ring Colin on 07802 523533. The fare is £6.00. The provisional timings are: meet at Meadow Park for 10.00am, leaving around 10.30am, stopping over briefly on the way there and back, leaving Hemsworth at around 6/6.30pm and aiming to be back in Sunderland around 10.00pm.
