Sunderland RCA is currently progressing a boys’ Under 13 football side. Development is also taking place to progress school / educational links in the South Side of Sunderland.

Initially, for the season 2006/07, the team will play non-league fixtures only with an emphasis on regular training sessions and enjoyment of the game.

The lads will be trained by qualified coaches (certificated) will train the lads and some of the sessions take place at Meadow Park (Ryhope) alongside First Team training.

The Club has a Code of Conduct and operates a Child Protection Policy.

The first training game will take place on Saturday, 23 September at Meadow Park at 1.30 PM.  

Although no charge will be made for the activities it will be appreciated if assistance could be given when transporting the lads to the training/game locations.

Please could the following information be given to Owen, in a sealed envelope, via your child at the next training session:

• Child’s full name
• Age
• Address
• Parent / Guardian name and telephone number
• For sport purposes - please list any medical history that should be brought to our attention
• Could you help with car / transport to activities?

The following equipment is essential for the training days: football boots, shin-pads, training top, shorts, football socks, water bottle and waterproof / light rain jacket.

The football club will supply future strips.
