"Just like a river that don't know where it's going, I took a wrong turn and I just kept flowing...."

Well apart from the wrong turn bit, if it's good enough for the Boss it's good enough for me. Might not be a wrong turn, in fact it's turned out lovely, but we certainly don't know where it's going, or if it will ever end? A comprehensive dispatch of the Bishop's boys and another two solid wins on the road since my last communication, and we sail serenely on in untroubled waters, well clear of the chasing pack.

Ah well, let's enjoy it while we can. Someone tells me the wee Scotsman was doing his best to calm fevered brows in the Sunday papers this week, "Be pleased and surprised if we make the top six". There's confidence for you, that will keep the boys on their toes and no mistake. Mind, I think he could be right, as I recall the annual post New Year slump turns up regular as clockwork most years, will this be any different? Are this years lads a tougher breed than usual, not flattened by a bit pudding and a few sherberts over the holidays? Long way away, so let's hope we can swerve the curse of Christmas this time around. But before then be hopes more of the same to look forward to, and a few home league games as well. The crowds are going up, but is this always a good thing? Can the boys in the cabin cope? Have they got enough Bovril to keep the ravening hordes satisfied? Will the pie keep coming? Where is the new cooker? More questions than answers, as always...
